Jenquai Warrior Newbie Guide

Europa Sector - Sol System
Jenquai Training Sector
Guide by: Feydrex

So you want to be a Jenquai? Well you've come to the right place for information. Knowledge is power..."in all things, know youself and know your enemy", a common saying among the Jenquai. This guide will help you become a Shinwa, your next Jenquai rank up from where you start at.

After completing your initial Earth and Beyond general training in the starting sector, you will need to take the gate to the Europa Sector in the Sol system. Once you arrive there, travel to the Ashanti Maru (use your map button if you can't find it.) The Ashanti Maru is the starbase that you'll use in this sector for things like towing and ship repairs. Once inside, find Ten'Shao Anala and talk with her. She will set you out on the begining of your mission to become a Shinwa. After speaking with her, leave the starbase.

Your overall Shinwa training mission has the name of "Path of Dark and Brightness". This mission has 5 steps and contains 3 other submission which have their own number of steps. More details will be given on this later in this document.

Part 1 of 5 of "Path of Dark and Brightness" is to Go to U'Nai Amitola at the Sun At Noon to complete summon training.

Warp to the Sun At Noon nav point (use your starmap button to aid in finding nav bouys). Once you are there, look for a friendly ship (green diamond icon) with the name U'Nai Amitola. She should be flying in a ship somewhere around the Sun At Noon. Talk to her and she will start you on submission 1, "The Sun At Noon." You will receive the summon skill at this time.

Part 1 of 5 of "The Sun At Noon" is to Summon the Shadow That Follows drone into the Sun Trap.

Look for your Shadow That Follows (it'll have your character name before it, example: Feydrex's Shadow That Follows). It will have a red diamond icon. The icon should be within visual range of the Sun At Noon nav point. If you don't see any Shadows That Follows, then keep rotating around in a circle until you see a red diamon icon (possibly off on one of the four edges of your screen.) Use impulse to get closer enough to your Shadow That Follows so that you can click on it to target it. Once you have it targeted, go ahead and warp over to it. Once there, look all around you until you find the Sun Trap. This is a circle of objects. You should be able to visually see this from where your Shadow That Follows is at. (Note: The Sun Trap does not appear on your starmap.) More than likely the Sun Trap will be in the opposite direction from where the Sun At Noon nav point is at, from your location. With your Shadow That Follows still targeted, move closer to the Sun Trap with impulse speed. When you are about 1.0k or so (maybe even 1.5k) away from your Shadow, click on the summon icon. In the communications window it should say that the Summon was activated. (If it doesn't say that, then either you don't have your Shadow targeted or you are too far away from the Shadow.) When you summon, your Shadow will appear right in front of you. Move closer towards the Sun Trap and summon your Shadow again. Continue to do this until you Shadow That Follows is inside of the circle around the Sun Trap. Once it is there, you have completed this part of the mission. (Note: The summon skill may not work properly if the sector is under extreme lag. If this is the case, keep trying or wait until the lag clears up.)

Part 2 of 5 of "The Sun At Noon" is to return to U'Nai Amitola for evaluation.

Simply warp back to the Sun At Noon nav point and go to U'Nai Amitola's ship and talk to her again.
